Chairman's Address

This is the first time that this play has been staged in Skibbereen and it has all the ingredients of being an outstanding success. It is also unusual in that the cast of seventeen is made up entirely of women.

Once again, the group will be travelling to drama festivals, with appearances at Ballyduff, Rossmore, Scarriff, Holycross, New Ross and Charleville, and we are very grateful to Muintir Skibbereen Credit Union for their financial assistance towards touring costs. Last year, the group had three wins of the festival circuit and so qualified for the All-Ireland finals.

Our thanks to all our sponsors, advertisers, to all who lent props and to all those who helped in so many different ways.
